I thought I would put together some websites that have helped me out with having Celiac Disease and Type 1 Diabetes

WEBSITES WITH GENERAL INFORMATION ON HOW TO GET STARTED WHEN DIAGNOSED WITH CELIAC DISEASE

www.celiaccentral.org  This is a great website and has really great information to help you out

You can also call Karen Dalyrymple  for the Greater Philadelphia Celiac Support Group .  this support group meets at the Abington Memorial Hospital twice a year, once in October and once in March.  they also have a Celiac Newsletter that comes out in the two months .  You can call her at 215 757 1233
She can also help you out in getting started with learning how to deal with Celiac Disease.  If you  join the group it is 25.00 to join but you get so much information for when you join.  She will send out to you a binder that will have everything you can think of at your finger tips to know about Celiac Disease  There  is also  yearly a 20.00 fee that is due in October of each year.  This is also well worth it.  She has great speakers come to the meetings and there are all sorts of great vendors that come also for you to taste and buy while you are there..

www.glutenfreeworks.com  The owner of this website has Celiac Disease and has helped out many Celiacs .  He takes a lot of time to help you out.  His name is John Libonati.  He can help you out with the disease and also he has nutritional testing to find out what vitamins you are lacking , there is a fee for this but it is well worth it to know everything on how you can regain your health  either back to what it used to be and in most cases better then what it used to be  His mother has  written a fantastic book Recognizing Celiac Disease by Cleo Libonati.  .  This book is magnificent it just has everything you can think of about the disease and how to show doctors wha tmight be ailing you .If you would like to call john Libonati you can call him at 215 591 4565.

GLUTEN FREE PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS

www.thealoeshop.myflpbiz.com   I love  love these products .  They are my gold mine in a tube.  all I can say is they work to make your skin come alive and look and feel younger.  They are Aloe Based Products which is a great moisturizer and it helps with getting rid of lines and wrinkles.  My hands in the winter time always looked liked I was about twenty years old but not any more my hands look younger then I am now .

www.skinfree.net  they have under New Products either an unscented chemical Free Shampoo or if you would like scent you can choose what scent you would like to have.  They have a list of essential oils that you can put into the shampoo that you have.

www.desertwindskincare.com  This company has soaps scented and unscented that have only 5 ingredients in them.  He also has creams and lotions all are very good  The owner's name is Chuck Wellman

www.laundrytree.com  this is a website for unscented laundry detergent.  Thsi detergent is from soapnuts.  Which is from a bush in India.  I use this detergent all the time I love it it has a natural fabric softener in the product.  The soapnuts themselves almost look like and feel like Acorns
There is going to be a gluten free demo with this detergent at Weavers Way coop this coming Saturday January 28th from 12 noon to 4 PM   Also members from Celiac Central will be there .  The address for the Weavers Way Coop is

www.nutribiotic.com  This has scented and unscented shampoos and conditioners plus a shower gel that is also scented and unscented but can also be used a s a shampoo.  It works very well

www.simplysharris.com  These cookies are also fantastic they are an assortment of all different types of short bread cookies.  My favorite ones are the Almond Short Bread and the Lemon Short Bread.  they can be purchased at TJMax stores or Marshall stores

www.thelittlebakery.com  This bakery is outstanding  He is not a Celiac but he works just as hard if he was one.  He has put gluten free deserts in schools such as Germantown   Academy. Chestnuthill Academy
Montgomery County Community College.  he says if you would like his products in your store just let him know and he will try to make it happen.  His Brownies are to die for, he has a Cream Cheese Brownie that is sinfully good .

BREADS

www.canyonbakehouse.com   this is my favorite gluten free bread.  It is soft like real bread and it taste fantastic,.  I am working to get this bread into Bottom Dollar Foods Grocery Store .  It is not in there yet but I am working on it..  My favorite bread is the 7 Grain Bread but everything else on their website is great
