I just discovered a great deli in Blue Bell Pennsylvania
Izzy's Deli has gluten free options You just have to let them know you would like a sandwich on gluten free bread.  They use Udis bread for customers that need something gluten free.  This is not a totally gluten free deli you just have to specify that you are a celiac they take it from there
I love this deli they have gluten free pancakes,  Udis bread,  gluten free deserts
Their gluten free macaroons,  chocolate chip cookies are great
I bought a loaf of their Udis bread this week and it was a much bigger loaf then the ones I have seen in stores and it only cost 6.00 for a loaf of bread that looked like a Strohman loaf of bread instead of a normal gluten free loaf of bread  The pieces of bread were huge  thick very good

I am beginning my gluten free cooking for the upcoming holidays
I came across a great site that had gluten free Natural Vanilla Baking Extract
I was so excited with this that I decided to join the company

I love this company because most of the products are gluten  free  Kosher and even Vegan  They will say this right on the bottom of the description of the product showing the ingredients
We have gluten free extracts soup bases gravies and spices just read the ingredients under the description of the product
We also have a smorgasbord of personal care products.  My favorite scent is the Lavender it is like walking in a field of Lavender fields .  It smells so nice and clean.
We have a very nice powder laundry detergent that is unscented hypoallergenic and best part it really does clean
The company also has natural cleaning products .  There is something for everyone

As you might have figured out with my other posts , I have a lot of issues with products that touch my skin.  This is also a problem for laundry Detergent, I break out from a lot of Laundry Detergents.  I have tried out a lot of products
The one I really like right now is Nearbayou Laundry Detergent  This company is based out of Texas
Usually I have problems with anything scented but with these products I do not.  I have tried the Lemon Detergent and the Citrus Blend Laundry Detergents I love these scents they are very light and airy
You can barely smell the scent when the laundry comes out of the dryer and I  like that.

I have 2 dogs that sleep on our bed  .  They are dark colored dogs and we have a white blanket  Usually when I wash this blanket it does not come out white there is always a beige y color to it.  When I  tried this detergent the blanket came out whiter then white I  was very impressed

The whole website is all gluten free natural organic  and home made from a company in New Jersey
These products were made up because their mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer about 10 years ago.
The family members made sure that their mother only had the best organic natural foods to eat.
One  of the family members began researching that she should also have the
most natural organic skin care for her skin.  They began looking for products for their mother for soaps shampoos cosmetics and everything else they could think of.
When they were looking around for the best skin care products they did not like
what they saw they felt it was not pure enough
They got together as a family and decided to start making their own products for their mother
It was a huge success, they also gave the products away for Christmas presents and other gifts for their family and friends.  The family and friends said to them these products are magnificent you have got to begin selling them .
A year later they began selling the products.  They do not advertise a lot  they let their consultants tell about these products.  I am here to tell you these products Rock .  They are the best I have ever tried.  They think of everything they have cosmetics lipsticks  nail polishes sunscreens soaps shampoos and so much more.

My favorites are the Apricot Freesia soap .  This soap is super moisturizing and does a great job on your face and body to keep it super soft and well moisturized

I love the Cinnamon Sedona lipstick it is a beautiful soft beige y rose color. This sells for 15.00
The Everything Salve really Rocks it is meant for  anything that ails you  for your skin from bee stings to insect bites to poison Ivy.  this sells for 12.25

I love love the tooth Powder by Poofy Organics  When I first  tried this product I immediately felt great using this  tooth powder . If you do no tlike to use tooth powders  you can wet your tooth brush put some Pure Coconut oil on then the tooth powder  this will make it more like a paste with an extra benefit from the Coconut oil

This is a very nice tooth powder that works extremely well.  It leaves your teeth and breath extremely fresh with out any chemicals or additives. My teeth feel smooth and feel stronger.

I love this product, it is particularly good for when you have pain from a given area of your body
This product is for anything that ails you from skin rashes to mosquito bites to bee stings to joint issues.
I use it for joint pains in my big toe. I just massage it is and presto no more pain
and it lasts a very long time sometimes up to 6 hours.

Hair Hero Lemon / Rosemary Shampoo / Condiitoner

Hello

I wanted to let you know I just tried the Hair Hero Lemon / Rosemary Shampoo / Conditioner from my website  elfs.poofyorganics.com    This is a hero of a shampoo.  I love love it.
I am rather a fuss puss when it comes to shampoos and conditioners.
I have certain guide lines that I want addressed in a shampoo / conditioner.
I do not want an over scented product, I want it to be natural organic and of course gluten free
I want it to make my hair pop with volume shine and make it look like I  just  came out of a hair salon and to have that look the next day.  Well this is my third day after using it and my hair looks just as good as the first day
There is so much shine and volume and it just looks fantastic.

I had a neighbor that came to me and asked where I  was getting my hair done that it looked great.  I told her I did not get my hair done but thank you I  just used this new product.
The scent is very light it is just enough of a scent.
Usually with shampoos since my hair is on the drier side I wash my hair and it looks ok but by the second day my scalp is ready for another wash but my hair could last a few more days   I am pleasantly surprised with this shampoo my scalp is fine and my hair still looks great
It is at a great price too it is only 11.25 for 8 oz. for an all natural organic gluten free shampoo / conditioner

Omnipod Insulin Pump

I have not done a blog for type 1 diabetes for awhile so I thought I would do a blog about my Omnipod Insulin Pump
Love Love this pump it makes me  feel  like I have so much more freedom in life
The Omnipod Insulin Pump comes  with pods and a main receiver.
Once you put your Omnipod pod on you only have to have the receiver for blood testing and for when you would like to do a bolus
The Omnipod Pods  are wireless  There is no tubing to it at all
To me it makes better blood sugars  not having the tubing
My blood sugars are in better control
The nice part about this system it comes with a built in testing meter  in the receiver  so you do not have to carry as much it is all right there.
The receiver is not big but not  too small either and it is easy to read
The pods themselves are easy to put on and they stay on and can come off easy when you want them to.  I also like it that you can shower with them swim with them and still get all the insulin dosages that you  would like to have with out doing anything at all.    You just put in your bolus  and basal units  in your receiver  what you want when you first get your system and from there the receiver takes care of everything.  Another thing I like is once you put a new pod on the receiver transmits to the pod all the information .  So you can even leave your receiver at home as long as you have a Dexcom continuous system so you  know your blood sugars are when you are away from your receiver
this is particularly nice when you are going to a store or a friends house you do not have to bring a bunch of supplies with you

I just tried  a few of the products from my website elfs.poofyorganics.com  I love  love this company every product is home made simple natural organic and of course gluten free at great prices.  
I tried the Everything Salve this is fantastic it is good for bee stings rashes joint pain or anything else that deals with  the joints and skin of the body.
I have some moderate to severe pain in my ankle from when I broke it in three different places and dislocated it in l994.
Most of the time my ankle is ok but in the evenings it does start to ache particularly when it is about to storm.  I put  that salve on and in about 15 minutes no more pain and it lasts most of the night free of pain.  This product is also good for any type of rashes.  My husband has Psoriasis  at night he is in  a lot of discomfort from scratching.  I put that salve on and instantly  no more itches.

I also like their All Purpose Household cleaner they have a few different essential oil scents that you can choose from for this cleaner .  I chose their Spirited Mint.  It smells great it kind of wakens up the kitchen and Bathroom with a delightful Mint scent and it really cleans very well.  No scrubbing just spray and wipe and it is clean and it shines as well .

I adore their  Vista Spirited Mint air Freshener .  It smells divine with just the right  amount  of Aromatherapy Mint.  It cleans the air and awakens the air .  When yo breathe the scent of the Aromatherapy Mint it awakens your soul and gives yo uthe sense that everything is going to be ok.  

I just purchased their Hair Hero Lemon /  Rosemary Shampoo/Conditioner Combo .  Like I said I just purchased this and I just received it but it smells great

I hope you will think about trying out these products.  I love them and the lipsticks are great

Hello

I am truly sorry it has been so long since my last post
My husband has been ill he is going to be operated on June 3rd hopefully he will be feeling better soon
I found a great company that every product is gluten free and most products have the certified USDA Organic seal on them.

The company was made up because their mother was diagnosed with Cancer
They wanted to have products in skin care that were of the highest quality to make sure that all her skin care  personal care and house hold cleaning products were safe for her

The family began making these  products in their home in 2006

I love everything this company stands for I am now a representative for their company.  As you are probably aware I have worked for other companies but with this company I feel they get it how important it if you are going to put it out there you have got to back it up and they do

For me to join the company it was not just send in a payment to become a representative . I had to read up on their policies look at all their guidelines which is  45 pages long  but worth knowing that much more about the company.

Then I had to go through and take a test on the material so I  knew what I was talking about.  The products are Gluten free which is very important for all of us

Orawellness Mouth Blend

Last week I  was trying to find a natural organic tooth paste.
I went on Amazon and went searching for my request.
I found several different ones to choose from but the one that really caught my eye was from OraWellness
Maybe it is all hype but I received it a few days ago and love it.  It is a natural organic mouth blend of organic essential oils
I have been using this for a few days now and I see a difference my teeth are whiter.  This product claims that it is the salvation for gum disease loose teeth periodontal disease.  For me for having type 1 diabetes and Celiac disease I have a double whammy for having teeth problems and gum problems.
I was eager to try it.  I love it You can use it alone or use it with your tooth paste  All you need to do is put a few drops of the mouth blend essential oils on your tooth brush and brush as usual.  I first tried it just the Mouth Blend alone  to see how the product worked.  Then I  used it with my other toothpaste I had the next time I brushed my teeth , I  liked the tooth paste I had but I felt I  needed something a little bit extra with having both of these products I feel confident I can have a better  result with having good gum and teeth results for  long time to come.  The tooth paste I  was using was from Arbonne which I do think is a good toothpaste but for me with having both conditions I  felt I needed something more and this product does it for me.      You then can put a small amount of water in a cup and a 1 to 2 drops of the mouth blend oil wish it around in your mouth then spit it out like a mouth wash and your mouth will be instantly feeling fresh.  This product also helps out with mouth dryness and teeth sensitivities.    I have noticed a difference with using this product.  I  used to wake up and my mouth would be parched, which I knew was not good for my teeth and gums.  My mouth is no longer parched in the mornings.
The product sells for I think 12.99 on Amazon.  It is the usual I think one ounce of essential oil.  It is well worth it.

I just discovered this little gem of a face cream

It is fantastic
I am of an age now that those tiny little pesty facial lines are starting to appear ever so slightly. They call them I think laugh lines or smile lines
I went on Amazon looking for a gluten free natural face cream.  My search came up with a lot of options.  This name came up and it is not easy to find but with reading the reviews I decided to try it
I love it particularly with the winter weather right now.  This facial moisturizer is rich and full of goodness on your skin.   It has a very subtle rose scent to it
It works miracles .  My face  when I put it on looks like I just put on a deep foundation taking away any imperfections on my skin without feeling heavy or caked on.  My skin feels well moisturized and soft to the touch
When I look into the mirror my facial lines are disappearing and I have a more youthful appearance.  This is hard to have during the winter months
The price for this little gem is not bad either I believe it was 14.95 for a 2 oz. jar of wellness and love
